Seasonal Lighting & Décor Installer

Job Description:
Ramar Event Production is seeking a creative, dependable, reliable, energetic individual for an opportunity in event lighting design, installation, and management. We are a Connecticut based company providing services throughout New England, across the United States, and around the world as requested by our clients.

We are a lighting design installation and management company that specializes in transforming spaces for turnkey events while providing exceptional management of each event through the successful implementation of lighting, AV, décor, floral, and power distribution. 

Responsibilities & Duties:
– Loading and unloading equipment needed for projects.
– Installing and removing our equipment from various venues
– operation lighting and sound equipment as needed.
– drive the company’s vehicle to and from events to set up and drop off equipment.
– General upkeep and maintenance duties.
– Responsible for the overall organization of our warehouse and other various tasks on our property.

Must haves:
– Local or not far from our warehouse (zip-12546).
– Be willing to work weekends and long shifts
– Some projects are physically demanding and repetitive, must be capable of lifting at least 50lbs.
– Valid Drivers License and ability to drive vans/small box trucks.
– Be punctual, be responsible, have a great personality, team player, and come out to learn something new.
– Be personable and enjoy what you do here. We love to have a good time at work!
– Ok with heights. (we often find ourselves up on ladders!)
