SAVANNAH EVENT LOGISTICS & CAPABILITIES

Market Overview

Savannah is one of America's most romantic cities and a premier destination wedding market, with its iconic historic squares, Spanish moss-draped live oaks, and antebellum architecture creating an unmatched event atmosphere. Ramar Event Productions brings veteran-level precision to every Savannah deployment — from luxury destination weddings in the historic district to conventions on Hutchinson Island and beach events on Tybee Island. Our production team has deep experience with Savannah's unique venue challenges, where historic preservation guidelines, cobblestone squares, and coastal humidity demand specialized expertise. We provide complete event production including intelligent lighting design, concert-grade audio, LED video walls, custom fabric draping, ceiling installations, special effects, custom signage, and complete fabrication.

Load-In & Logistics

Savannah load-in logistics require careful navigation of the historic district's narrow streets, cobblestone squares, and residential noise ordinances. Many historic venues prohibit ceiling rigging and require generator power — all overhead elements must use self-supported truss systems. For Hutchinson Island venues (Convention Center, Westin Harbor), access is via the Talmadge Memorial Bridge with good truck clearance. Tybee Island events require beach access permits and sand-rated equipment transport. Savannah's coastal humidity demands climate-controlled equipment storage and moisture protection for all electronics. We coordinate with the City of Savannah Historic District Board for all required permits.

Nearby Coverage

From Savannah, we serve the entire Georgia coast including Tybee Island (20 min east), Jekyll Island and St. Simons Island (80 miles south), and across the state line to Hilton Head Island, SC (45 min north) and Beaufort, SC (50 min north). Our Savannah coverage connects with our Charleston operations (110 miles north) and Atlanta operations (250 miles northwest) for multi-city Southeast event programs.
