How We Deploy to Barbados
Kits are containerized from Connecticut with customs brokerage handled in advance; hand-carry spares fly with the crew. All rigging hardware is marine-grade and rinsed after every beach install. Generators, distro and climate control are specified for open-air and villa builds.
Every Barbados build is engineered before it ships: rigging plots, power calculations, wind and weather contingency, permit submissions and venue load-in scheduling are handled by the same team that installs on site. One contract covers design, fabrication, delivery, install, show operation and strike.

Producing Events in Barbados: What Actually Shapes the Build
Barbados is one of our steadiest Caribbean markets, and the production model is different from anything we do on the mainland. Gear is pre-staged and containerised in Torrington weeks ahead, cleared through customs on the island, and supplemented by vetted local labor for load-in and strike while our design and technical leads travel in with the kit.
The venue mix runs from West Coast resort properties and beach clubs at Holetown and Paynes Bay to plantation houses and private villas inland. Beach and clifftop installs bring salt, sand and afternoon wind, so we specify weather-rated fixtures and distribution, corrosion-aware hardware, and tenting anchored for tradewind conditions rather than for a sheltered lawn.
Power is planned as if the venue has none. Resort services are rarely sized for a full production load, island voltage and frequency differ from what mainland gear expects, and outages are a normal planning assumption — so we bring generator power with the right transformers and hold redundancy on anything the show cannot lose.
Timelines run longer than a domestic build. Shipping, customs clearance and island logistics mean a Barbados program is typically locked several months earlier than an equivalent Connecticut date, and hurricane-season contingencies are written into the plan from the first conversation rather than added later.
Destination weddings
West Coast resorts, beach clubs and private villas — tented and open-air receptions engineered for tradewinds, lighting and draping shipped in with our own kit, and generator power so the celebration does not depend on the property’s service.
Corporate & incentive programs
Resort general sessions, awards dinners and brand activations with AV, LED, staging and connectivity, produced by travelling technical leads with local crew support and redundancy on every critical system.
