How We Deploy to US Virgin Islands
Domestic freight to St. Thomas, then inter-island barge to St. John or St. Croix — barge windows drive the entire schedule. Steep villa driveways require small-vehicle shuttling and hand-carry kit design. All hardware is marine-grade.
Every US Virgin Islands build is engineered before it ships: rigging plots, power calculations, wind and weather contingency, permit submissions and venue load-in scheduling are handled by the same team that installs on site. One contract covers design, fabrication, delivery, install, show operation and strike.

Producing Events in US Virgin Islands: What Actually Shapes the Build
St. Thomas, St. John and St. Croix are US territory, which simplifies freight and electrical standards, but the terrain makes them among the more demanding installs we do. Hillside villas, clifftop terraces and small beach venues are reached by narrow switchback roads that will not take a full-size production truck, so gear is broken down for smaller vehicles and staged in multiple trips.
Venue infrastructure is limited by design. Many of the best sites are private villas with residential electrical service and no dock, no freight elevator and no back-of-house. We plan those as bare-site builds: generator power, our own distribution, ground-supported rigging, and a load-in schedule that assumes hand-carry for the last stretch.
Weather engineering matters more than scale here. Tradewinds are constant on exposed points, salt spray reaches further than clients expect, and afternoon showers arrive without much warning — so fixtures, cable and control gear are weather-rated and every open-air design carries a rain contingency that can be executed by the on-site crew.
St. John in particular has restricted access and national park adjacency at several sites, adding permitting steps and barge scheduling from St. Thomas. Those constraints are workable, but they need to be in the plan early — Virgin Islands programs are quoted with the logistics visible rather than buried.
Villa & beach weddings
Hillside villas and small beach venues produced as bare-site builds: generator power, ground-supported lighting and drape, weather-rated gear, and a staged load-in sized to roads that will not take a production truck.
Small corporate & retreats
Executive retreats and incentive programs at resort and villa properties, with compact AV and lighting packages, redundancy on show-critical systems, and travelling technical leads supported by local crew.
